Finance Edition

We have so many exciting updates that came out of Workday Rising, and I want to ensure that each of you are up-to-speed on exactly where and how we are innovating our financial tools.

A majority of those highlights including those below were covered in our Innovation Keynote which you can access here (recommend starting at the 59 minute mark) and within the Rising portal (just register for a free pass to access).

  1. Receipt Scanning in Workday Expenses - creating a digital assistant to take in your travel receipts, scan them and map them to your expense reports with the correct amounts and tags

  2. Simplifying Report Authoring - Expanding how data can be accessed via OfficeConnect, adding business views to better blend data from sources, reduced time to create composite reporting by 30% which allows your team to better curate and distribute that data

  3. Predictive Forecasting - prepare a plan automatically by bringing in external data, identify anomalies, and compare to identify biases

  4. Generative AI Contract Analysis - system alerts your team of the discrepancy between internal transaction and physical contract which then prompts you to review it in a side by side format, recommends a resolution and then kick offs the appropriate approval process to resolve
